How To Quickly Get A Human On The Telephone @ Almost Every Company

PLEASE LISTEN TO OUR MENU CAREFULLY BECAUSE OUR OPTIONS HAVE CHANGED!

Everyone has hear the above line when trying to call any company.  This is usually followed by a series of "If you would like ____ press 1, To report a _____ press 2", etc.  How frustrating is this when all you want to do is talk to a real live person.

THERE'S NO NEED TO FEAR, UNDERDOG IS .......

Ooops, sorry I digressed for a second.

There is help.    Thanks to Paul English, a human being is now a few keystrokes away.  Mr. English has created an alphabetical listing of more than a thousand companies and the steps required to reach a living, breathing, phone answering person.  Just go to www.GetHuman.com.  You can also try www.GetHuman2.comwhich was created by Walt Tetschner

So the next time an automated voice tells you to press 1 for sales....You whip out you list and say NOT TODAY SISTER!

Everyone Have A Great Day

Naples Marketing  Wow that's awesome! But don't you think waiting helps us work on our patience? :)

Elayna - waiting usually makes the situation worse for me :)

Leander - I usually press "0", then "#" and "*".  It often confuses the computer so much that it'll just give up trying to understand what you want and transfer you to a human.

What a great idea. I must check this out. I wonder how long a human spent actually compiling this list?

I have used social engineering tactics to get who I want sometimes. It works especially well on phone systems that ask you to say the party of who you want. I have gotten the CEO before. :)

Wow! Thanks for the information. It is frustrating to jump through those crazy hoops all of the time.

I hate those automated systems. Bring back the days of a human voice on the other end of the line!

I also hate those automaated systems. I found out with the cable company push a couple of their numbers than hang up! They will always call you back within a couple of minutes - they think you have become frustrated. Dialing 0 on a lot of them also helps. Thanks for the list! This is handy.

Very useful information!  It can be so frustrating listening to all the endless options, none of which apply to our situation!
